They called him Barefoot Mike around this place.... He lived on his 23' O'Day in Coupon Bight and rode a bicycle with aluminum rims that would not rust out.........
He was more of a SEER ............ an analyst.... in human behaviors... then a Bum........ he seemed very accurate when calling out a Spade for a Spade over the years....... often hilarious as well in the doing so of.
He had some serious dental issues... but had no money to go to the Dentist. Their rates somehow are not a criminal Act...........
He died up on the Appalachian trail as a section hiker in a shelter... the flies swarmed around his turning purple body a fellow hiker lady found him... on a following morning..
Subsequent to his death....I met his father due to circumstances ... he was dyeing of lung cancer... He loved spraying agent orange in Asia... he told me....he also informed me he paid $9500 for that Boys Casket it had a special rubber seal... he 'Mike' was getting ripe you know?
