He likely was a boy of not more then 10 up there in the Hight Desert.
They stopped at that big hole in the ground... the Meteorite was used as a door stop back then...
No vacuum sealed case...........
and there was a sign that said it weighed 550 pounds... it was all shiny like a US Nickel .... and looked like a Coral rock all full of holes like swiss cheese.
He stooped over and attempted to pick up one end... it was useless the the bright metal rock did not budge..
But you see he touched it.
The Space Debris .. caused him to wonder was he there before?
Now that place is all fancy.... hoity toity .....
