Taking a pass...............and........Cadbury shuddered at the thought.........

It was in the wee hours of the morning... Cadbury was out and about on Big Pine riding the Bicycle he had found in the Trash  earlier in the day with the rusty frame and wheels ... and a huge basket........

You could fit a whole case of beer in it.........

He was passing the S.E. corner of the Plaza just up there by the Winn Dixie... when he heard a females voice coming out of the darkness.... Help me! Help me! she cried..........

His initial reaction was to go see what was going on in the darkness...then he thought of a shiv...
going between his ribs and better of it.

Who is there... do I know you? he said in a calm voice.........

Out  of the darkness into the shadows came  two women together, side by side... the one had track marks going up her neck ... points at where a needle had entered her flesh in close succession..... in a bruised area........

Oh WOW! he thought he was set back by the sight... what have you gotten yourself into now, he inner voiced?

Of course and naturally she was pleading........... with him.......

anything for 10-15  dollars..... anything?     deal of the day?

Hmmmmmmmm he thought?  Lets think....... a minute, as he lingered.......

That would not be very nice...... ' he thought'   but she would not mind, maybe she would even like it?

So did that make it ok?

It was a mixture a concoction of things... thought processes... should he or shouldn't he allow himself , perhaps thrown in the pot with a dash of guilt for seasoning and reasoning  ........  spicing  The Stew........

Then  'The Voice' came...like the name of a village newspaper.... and said:

Just as he was visualizing her mouth filling with cream...... and this is what was said or what Cadbury heard... upon his rusty bike......... before he wobbled off........ alone into the night........

"Be good to fellow humanity there has got to be a way to rid them of their living HELL"

peddling away  on his recently acquired heap .
